Parallel and Contrapuntal Sound

For my video, I chose the song ''Don't Stop Me Now'' by Queen. I chose this song because it starts of slow and then increases its tempo. Therefore, in the beginning I started off with a set of pictures and videos that connote happiness and romance. This part of the video demonstrates parallel sound as the slow music ties in with the visuals. I then decided to use contrapuntal sound by using videos and images that completely contrast the upbeat and joyful tone of the song. I did this by using videos such as guns being fired and people screaming.
